You or your loved one is recovering from injury, surgery or other temporary disability. Upon recovery, you are likely to return to the same home environment you came from prior to your temporary disability. You need on site access to therapies and treatment configured for Medicare billing, for an extended period.
Rehabilitation facilities are Medicare optimized extensions of regular hospital services. They often include skilled nursing care as need for a particular treatment and recovery program. A rehab facility is not a long term residential solution. It's a place to invoke all your Medicare or private insurance benefits for prolonged therapy that maximizes your potential to return to full activity.
