Volunteer & Work Opportunities
You’ve been around the block a time or two and if you have the capacity to serve, your experience is needed in your community. Organizations in your community such churches and charities, as well as publicly funded resource centers rely heavily on Senior volunteers to serve meals, make well-being checks, lead games read books, and a host of other vital compassionate service. More Seniors are finding enjoyment in staying productive in the workforce and that even modest part-time income can help them to delay drawing on retirement assets, or fund vacations like cruises. Many employers, like volunteer organizations, value your experience, maturity and reliability. Your Senior Center may have education resources to help you prepare for an invigorating new employment opportunity, as well as recruiting network.
